Our Product Control team within the Finance department is responsible for understanding, substantiating, and controlling the revenue recognition of the trading business, with a specific focus on the balance sheet and income statement. Based in London, the team supports our global Commodities Markets & Finance businesses by providing clients with risk and capital solutions across physical and financial markets.

What role will you play?

As a Product Controller, you will support our global Commodities Markets & Finance businesses. You will partner with traders regarding risk, trading strategies, and valuation impacts on P&L and balance sheet, including participating in front office projects. You will also be responsible for P&L attribution, analysis, and commentary on a daily and period-to-date basis, and for maintaining strong internal relationships with the front office, risk, operations, financial control, and other finance teams.

What you offer

• Approximately 4 years of relevant Product Control, Market Risk, or Price testing/Valuation industry experience
• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA beneficial
• Strong background in financial markets and trading businesses, with experience in commodities products and physical commodities
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with an interest in coding and data analytics
• Strong client service skills and control/risk awareness with a high level of energy, commitment, and flexibility
• Continuous focus on qualitative improvements to teamwork and ensuring the highest quality work is delivered
