What role will you play?

Your role in our team will be to support and grow coverage of the New Zealand equities market. As a Publishing Analyst, in collaboration with our Senior Analysts you will be responsible for idea generation, analysis, financial modelling, valuation, report writing and client communications. You will deepen your understanding of companies and markets through interacting with company management, industry experts and our broader Australasian Macquarie Capital team, as well as attending Macquarie-hosted and industry conferences.  

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in Equities, Buyside, Investment Banking or related finance/corporate experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or similar discipline. Please include as part of your application your academic transcript
  • A keen interest in how companies, industries and markets operate
  • Analysis experience and an understanding of financial models, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, generate ideas and problem solve.
