Join our Macquarie Asset Management Business Compliance Team and play a key role supporting Compliance advisory to a large scale, global asset manager, providing clients with access to a diverse range of capabilities and products across infrastructure, real estate, credit, fixed income, equities and multi-assets.

What role will you play?

As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will support the Macquarie Asset Management Private Markets business, interacting with senior business stakeholders across transactions and business enterprise teams.

You will provide advice on a broad range of regulatory issues, policies, key regulations and new product proposals. You will review marketing materials including fund offering documents. You will manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and analyse the application of regulatory obligations.

In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and testing of key controls and processes, drafting, updating and implementing Compliance owned policies and procedures, preparing Compliance Committee and Board papers and completing regulatory findings.

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Compliance role in an Asset Management or Banking environment or have relevant Risk Management/Legal experience.
  • Strong understanding of Compliance Risk Management within the Australian regulatory environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Practical approach to problem solving and decision making, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
