Join our Global Internal Audit team based in Sydney supporting our Business Services division encapsulating operational resilience, third party management, and corporate real estate. You will play a key role contributing to the continual improvement of the overarching risk management framework.

What role will you play?

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will assist or lead in the delivery of group-wide audits covering a range of business support services including operational resilience, procurement, service provider management, and corporate real estate.

You will play a critical role in the audit lifecycle, delivering across all areas such as planning, fieldwork, and reporting of findings. While your primary focus will be in across the Business Services division, you will also have the opportunity to work across audits in our broader Corporate Operations Group portfolio, including across Data and Technology.

  • Experience in a comparable audit or risk management role testing scope areas including Operational Resilience, Procurement, Supplier Management and Corporate Real Estate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, resilience and problem-solving skills with a questioning mindset.
  • Open and positive approach to engaging with senior stakeholders and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Learning mindset with an interest in the regulatory environment in which Macquarie operates.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow.
