Join our dedicated team of project and change specialists driving the effective delivery of change, through a diverse portfolio of initiatives across Macquarie’s Risk Management Group. The central projects and change team are responsible for partnering with our risk management stakeholders to deliver transformation, uplift and change to systems and processes that underpin the successful operations of the risk management group and to ensure that regulatory or business deliverables are met.

What role will you play?

You will support the delivery of key strategic projects for Macquarie’s Risk Management Group and work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Initially aligned to the Operational Risk team, you will leverage prior experience in producing detailed process maps to document established processes, develop future state processes, and work closely with technical teams to develop a supporting workflow solution. 

What you offer

  • 5+ years’ of experience as a business analyst in the financial services industry, ideally with experience of delivering projects involving policy, process and workflow changes 
  • Excellent analytical capability supported by clear and concise written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work efficiently with stakeholders 
  • Thrive in an environment with evolving priorities and changing needs of the business  
  • A working knowledge and exposure to Operational Risk Management will be highly regarded

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
