Join our Regulatory Risk team, where we manage regulatory relationships and provide regulatory compliance advice and support to our business stakeholders. Our expertise includes licensing, external audits and regulatory inspections, regional management of regulatory developments and relationship programs, and reporting for subsidiary boards and senior management.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with the Hong Kong and regional compliance officers to manage regulatory risk in line with the global Compliance framework. Your responsibilities will include preparing compliance updates for stakeholders, tracking information around incidents, interactions and regulatory communications, preparing management information as well as designing, implementing and managing processes that support the Regulatory Risk function.

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and interpret requirements and change
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills for developing relationships across various stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis, with relevant experience working with workflow automation and technology-based solutions
  • A great team player who can collaborate effectively with others, while also being able to self-motivate and work independently
  • Previous regulatory or risk management experience gained working at financial services organisations or financial services regulators.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
