The COG Technology team in Gurugram is searching for an enthusiastic and talented front office C# developer to join the Equity Derivatives and Trading (EDT) desk within the Commodities and Global Markets Group. EDT is predominately focused on funding arbitrage, derivatives, global instruments and algorithmic strategies across Asia, Europe and US regions. It relies heavily on in-house developed real-time trading systems to actively execute, manage trading risk and comply with market regulations. Our global team of technology enthusiasts is directly aligned to the trading desk and we are given scope to bring value to the business through our contribution of innovative ideas and technical skills. We are proud that traders and technologists work in partnership to develop systems involving algorithms, trading strategies, market/broker connectivity, monitoring and peripheral tooling.

What role will you play?

As a Software Engineer supporting Front Office trading, you will design, develop, and maintain our in-house real-time trading systems. You will work closely with the Equity Derivatives trading desks as part of the core development team for our trading platform, adding new features to market-making, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with market regulations. 

What you offer

• Experience of 2+ years in a Front Office Trading environment.

• Experience with C# in server-side development.

• Strong understanding of Multithreading, Data structures, and Algorithms.

• Experience with Agile development, TDD, Unit testing, and providing input on existing code.

• Good communication skills, able to engage with other teams including QA, Compliance, Middle Office, and Support.

• Nice to have an experience on FIX protocol.

• Python as a secondary language.
