Our Treasury Architecture team designs and delivers the data foundations that support Macquarie’s global liquidity, capital, and balance sheet management activities. What role will you play?

As a Data Modeller, you will contribute to the delivery of our next‑generation Liquidity Platform by creating strategic and practical data solutions for Group Treasury. You will translate conceptual ideas into logical and physical data models, ensuring they are both technically sound and business‑focused. You will also collaborate with engineers, developers, project managers, and subject matter experts to shape data flows, documentation, and artefacts that clearly communicate solution designs. This role will see you operate in a fast‑paced and solutions‑driven environment where your expertise will influence key data outcomes.

What you offer

  • Extensive experience in data modelling, including the creation of clear and engaging artefacts such as data flow diagrams, process documentation, and solution options
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury‑related data and experience applying domain‑driven data modelling principles
  • Proven ability to design logical and physical data models from conceptual frameworks and work closely with engineering teams to bring models to life
  • Experience using data modelling tools such as Alation and Erwin, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and manage timelines with project managers
  • A resilient and proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to large‑scale transformation initiatives.
