Join our risk technology team in Credit Risk that support all operating groups in Macquarie Group. This is an exciting time for us as we are embarking on a Credit Risk Transformation program that aims to build a new system to support all core Credit Risk activities, such as rating and reviewing our counterparties, managing limits, position monitoring, and portfolio monitoring at various levels.

What role will you play?

You will work in a multi-talented, diverse team across multiple geographical locations and implement solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will help build out API first services with key focus on scale, security and robustness, modern data pipelines, design and implement high quality products that is thoroughly tested and cater to a world class user experience and uplift development experience. With a strong focus on CI/CD and bringing in other key aspects of XP such as TDD, Pair programming, code refactoring, you will contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain and provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base. In addition, you will build automated testing as part of end-to-end delivery and work with and recommend technology solutions to Product Owners and business stakeholders


What you offer

  • Experience in Credit Risk technology domain including limits, exposure, reviews or similar
  • Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience in Full stack development (front end and back end)
  • Experience in system design and architectures like data pipelines, micro-services, event driven architectures
  • Exposure to latest best practices and design thinking
  • Experience in UI technologies such as React, Redux, Jest, Single-Spa, Micro-frontend
  • Experience in Backend technologies such as Java, Python, Junit, PyTest, SpringBoot
  • Experience in data engineering aspects, tools and platforms as - data pipelines, data workflows, data and load assurance, data reconciliation Spark, Presto, Airflow etc
  • Experience in ORMs and Databases such as Hibernate, SQLAlchemy, Postgres, SQL server
  • Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and cloud native apps
  • Experience in DevOps technologies such as CI-CD, CloudFormation, Maven, PIP, Docker, Containerisation
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Shell
  • Experience in Agile based project delivery.
