Join our Internal Communications team in the Risk Management Group, which leads the group’s coordinated approach to communication and engagement, working as part of the broader Risk Management Group People and Engagement team. 

This is a 12-month contract.

What role will you play?

You will play a lead role in the execution of our global communications strategy. You will partner closely with the Strategy and Culture team and the Head of People Engagement to ensure a coordinated approach to the way we are engaging our people within the Risk Management Group and on risk messages across Macquarie.

You will work closely with senior leaders on key initiatives and the positioning of message development, content (written and digital) and events. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will demonstrate the ability to be agile – building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, whilst driving multiple projects simultaneously across different times zones and shifting priorities.

  • Excellent writing capability with strong experience developing and delivering communication plans in a fast moving environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and are comfortable dealing with senior leaders
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to understand the needs of our diverse teams and stakeholders to drive people centred outcomes
  • Highly collaborative with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to partner closely with other members of the People and Engagement team to ensure a coordinated approach to engagement.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow.
