What role will you play?

In your role as a Senior Regional Travel Manager based in Sydney, you’ll be responsible for managing the travel category for both ANZ and Asia regions, including the development of regional and market level strategies that continuously improve end-user travel experience, deliver best-in-class commercial results and policy compliance. You will be the face and voice of Macquarie for our key industry suppliers and partners, and also provide expert level advisory services to support the business with a risk focused mindset spanning these regions.

As part of the global travel team, you assume the strategic ownership of various global initiatives, and deploy other globally led strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing customized business unit plans and other travel related initiatives from analysis, recommendation, implementation, communications, training, post implementation reporting through to completion and sign-off.

What you offer

  • 7+ years experience in strategic travel programs, procurement, category management and/or sourcing
  • Proven and productive relationships with air, hotel, ground transport, corporate card and technology suppliers and partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholder groups across the Group
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to formulate compelling strategies and business plans
  • Leadership experience and style that maximises performance, output, and Macquarie stakeholder satisfaction
