What role will you play?

As a Senior Engineer, you will champion engineering excellence across our API applications and products. You will focus on improving environments and quality practices, developing automation frameworks and tools to drive self-service, and ensuring stability and high availability across multiple teams. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices, processes, and methodologies, helping to shape the future of our digital platforms.

What you offer

  • Strong experience in software engineering and system design, particularly with Java, and the ability to perform root cause analysis and debug applications in production.
  • A solid understanding of reliability patterns (e.g., circuit breakers, rate limiting) and the use of SLOs, metrics, logs, and traces to enhance system performance.
  • Proven expertise in cloud-based technologies, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in integrating testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket) and experience with test automation and performance testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with identity management tools (e.g., Ping, Okta, EntraID) and industry-standard authorisation frameworks such as OpenID, OAuth 2.0, and SAML, with exposure to IAM technologies and protocols.
