As a Software Engineer, you will deliver software solutions that empower our people to innovate and invest for a better future. Collaborating with colleagues across the globe, you will work with a variety of modern technologies, all built on our cloud-based infrastructure. You will also be part of a highly motivated and collaborative team which has an evolving DevOps and Agile culture that provides you ownership of your solutions / applications.
You will have the satisfaction of seeing the software development process through from start to finish and witnessing the impact of your work on our business. This includes understanding the business case for the software, defining the requirements, and delivering the final solution. You will design, make technology decisions, ensure security by design, code, document, test performance, and provide support.

What you offer

  • Proven engineering skills with proficiency to use Python and AWS Services for building data pipelines and microservices.
  • Skills in CI/CD, Containers, Apache Airflow, Relational and NoSQL Database, Monitoring, Observability and Secrets Management is highly regarded
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide support to business stakeholders as part of a DevOps Team
  • Experience with other programming language such as Java, Scripting, Angular is highly regarded
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD as well as familiarity with Data Lake / Data Warehouse
  • Understanding of Secure by Design Principles, Design Patterns and Various Testing Methodologies
  • Comfort in proposing designs, gathering feedback from stakeholders, building solutions with reusability in mind, and ability to document/explain how these solutions work.
