What role will you play?

As a Manager in Transaction Management & Accounting Advisory, you will partner with the business, oversee the implementation of their transactions, and provide advice on the correct International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting treatment. You will collaborate with a range of stakeholders to recognise and communicate potential opportunities for more efficient outcomes. Additionally, you will coordinate the finance response to new products and transactions, aggregating feedback to provide approval recommendations to senior management.

What you offer

  • ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience with commodities and/or banking transactions including understanding of their International Finance Reporting Standards implications
  • Strong advisory experience across financial transaction management is essential 
  • Experience in a financial control or business partnering role of an entity that enters physical commodity transactions and/or a financial institution. An understanding of the IFRS implications of these transactions is key.
  • Experience working in a high-performance, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex accounting issues to various stakeholders
  • A commercial mindset, translating technical theory into viable answers
