Join our Commodities and Global Markets team in Finance, which globally supports product accounting, profit and loss reporting, analysis of trading activities, reconciliations to the general ledger and balance sheet substantiation within Macquarie Group located in Jacksonville, FL.

What role will you play?

In this role you will use your strong reconciliation and accounting skills in parallel with your ability to navigate through complex infrastructure and resolve issues independently. Your role as a member of the Commodities and Global Markets Finance team has elements of daily and monthly deliverables, with a month-end closing period lasting for three business days.

What you offer

• Accounting background with 5+ years experience in Product Control or Financial Control, ideally in the Financial Services Industry
• Experience in reconciliations, complex general ledger systems, posting accounting manual journals and accounting for financial products
• A control mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate control gaps and highlight issues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a focus on month-end close activities through collaboration with colleagues across the globe
• Ability to navigate through complex front to back infrastructure of a global financial services institution.
