The Front Office Engineering Team plays a key role in digitising and modernizing CGM's Macquarie's trading system. We are bringing in Cloud technologies to enable the business to scale and respond to opportunities with agility. As a member of the team, you will be able to work on interesting engineering challenges.

What role will you play?

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will design, develop, test (unit and automation), implement and maintain software solutions with a focus on quality and DevOps principles. You will work on a diverse range of cloud resources and support distributed compute platform whilst also helping with production support, including coordinating the resolution of high severity incidents.

What you offer

  • Software development experience in a programming or scripting language
  • Experience, or an interest in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes etc)
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with business users
  • Optional but highly desirable skills:
  • Linux system administration, networking and tools such as git
  • Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
