We have an exciting opportunity to join a group of diverse tax professionals on our Tax Reporting team supporting our Americas businesses as a Sr. Tax Associate/Tax Reporting Analyst in our New York office. You will work across a range of tasks relating to the preparation of forecasts of taxable income and effective tax rates, and assist in an outside basis on analysis of earnings on dividend and repatriation of entities in the Americas group.

In a collaborative approach, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas within a supportive environment as you liaise with the Tax Advisory department to comprehend US tax law requirements on specific transactions as well as liaising closely with Business Unit Finance, Legal Entity Controllers, and Tax Advisory teams to understand and highlight potential tax technical issues with accounting positions, transactions, and new products. Your detailed focus will enable you to add value for the preparation of corporate, federal, and state income tax returns (annual, quarterly, extensions), tax provisions, effective tax rate calculations, taxable income and deferred tax computations, as well as prepare test tax basis computations based on a balance sheet approach for book/tax differences of entities within the Americas Region. Additionally, you will prepare tax payable and tax receivables reconciliations for cash flow and Foreign Exchange hedging purposes and assess potential impact of changes in organizations from a tax compliance and accounting perspective.

Salary range for this position in New York only is: $115,000 - $130,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
  • Masters in Tax and/or CPA  
  • Minimum of three to five years working in Financial Services or in an Accounting Firm.
