Join our Compliance Governance and Frameworks team and have the opportunity to work across all Macquarie Operating and Central Service Groups. You will help ensure the Compliance Division has appropriate governance in place to effectively support regulatory compliance and good risk outcomes for Macquarie.

This is a 12 month contract position.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst, you will partner closely with compliance stakeholders globally to ensure group wide compliance policy reviews and standards are completed and remain fit for purpose for our internal and external risk landscape.

You will monitor Compliance processes and procedures and prepare reporting on Compliance risks and operational effectiveness for senior management. You will also support with the implementation of existing or new processes and controls. In addition, you will contribute to the uplift and effective use of Macquarie’s governance, risk management, and compliance platform.

  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Experience gained working at financial services organisation or financial services regulator is advantageous.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
