The Resilience team are responsible for the implementation of the group business resilience framework to ensure Macquarie has the ability to anticipate, withstand, respond and recover from business disruptions.

We ensure the organisation is resilient through crisis leadership, effective planning, testing and exercising and partnering with the business and suppliers to sustain operations during times of disruption.

What role will you play?

Join the team in a delivery role focused on coordination of business and operational resilience regulatory requirements in the Asia region, with the objective of enhancing resilience capability and helping foster a resilient culture across the Asia region. You will be part of a global team who work as trusted partners within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business.

By utilising your experience and strong stakeholder engagement expertise, you will support the Business Resilience Program, ensuring its effective delivery within our businesses across Asia, with a focus on Manila. In addition, you will play a critical role in managing resilience risks, including through driving plan reviews and recovery strategy testing to ensure alignment with the Business Resilience Policy and Standards.

What you offer

• 5+ years’ experience in either Business Continuity/Resilience, Operational Risk, Technology Recovery, Crisis or Incident Management or risk management field, ideally gained within a financial services environment
• Understanding of Asia Business Continuity/Operational Resilience regulations
• Strong analytical skills with experience utilising complex data from diverse sources to tell compelling, accessible, and accurate stories
• Demonstrated experience in supporting Crisis Management responses, as well as execution of training / exercises with senior business leaders
• Confidence to present, review and constructively challenge resilience capability with a customer-focused lens is a key attribute
• Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement of the Resilience Framework and methodology
• Strong project management skills to support delivery of the resilience framework in Asia, along with supporting the preparation of responses to auditors and regulators.
