What role will you play?

You will be an experienced, highly motivated commercial lawyer embedded within the business to provide deal structuring, negotiation, execution, legal advice, and the day to day management of the private credit , equity and real estate portfolio. Your work will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal documentation for leveraged finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions as well as driving and supporting deal execution and conducting due diligence on targeted legal and regulatory matters.

  • A qualified lawyer in one or more jurisdictions with a minimum post-admission experience of at least 6 years with the majority spent at a leading law firm. In-house experience, particularly within credit or distressed debt funds, would also be beneficial, but not a pre-requisite.
  • In-depth working knowledge and significant expertise in leveraged finance. In addition, experience in any of the following would be beneficial: restructuring, M&A, litigation, real estate and/or debt trading.
  • Be able to collaborate effectively in a team as well as work well independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills alongside highly developed technical legal skills and ability to exercise practical, commercial judgment.
  • •Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work under tight time constraints.
