What role will you play?

In this role, you will manage month-end tax accounting and reporting for the EMEA region, collaborating closely with local entity controllers (LECs) to prepare statutory notes for EMEA entities. Your responsibilities also include preparing income tax calculations and corporate tax returns for Macquarie Group entities, providing effective tax rate (ETR) reconciliation as required by stakeholders, ensuring timely tax payments, and conducting tax-related balance sheet reconciliations.

Additionally, you are expected to take full ownership and responsibility for delivering your tasks on time and with high quality. Flexibility in managing workloads is crucial for the smooth transition of new processes and for mitigating risks associated with rapid change and growth.

What you offer

  • A professional accountancy qualification: CA, with a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in tax accounting and compliance is a must.
  • Willingness to work flexibly or in shifts.
