Supporting the global Macquarie Capital business, you will take on a key role as the second Line of Defence with a specific focus on the Asia Pacific region.

What role will you play?

You will partner with and support the Macquarie Capital business and first line risk teams by ensuring processes are adequately assessed to identify potential risk causes and ensure controls are effectively designed and operated to mitigate a failure in people, processes or systems. In addition, you will support the wider non-financial risk teams in assisting and facilitating the delivery of various projects.

What you offer

• 10 years+ experience in Operational Risk, Internal and/or External Audit gained within an international financial institution and/or professional services firm
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build effective working relationships
• Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, present new ideas and work both independently as well as collaboratively
• Have a positive and constructive approach to problem solving
• Tenacity, agility and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
