Our team will work closely with the Business Services and Corporate Real Estate Occupancy teams to deliver value adding analysis and meaningful insights while supporting Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group

What role will you play?

You will provide insights and analysis to help the Business Services and Corporate Services Occupancy teams effectively manage their cost base and monthly cost recoveries, support the delivery of their strategy and provide the opportunity to be a true finance business partner. You will develop relationships with the offshore Financial Control team and provide insight and interpretation of accounting adjustments and standards to the BSD leadership team. You will manage the financial risk and control environment for the Business Services and Corporate Real Estate Occupancy functions.

You will prepare monthly financial management reporting and detailed analysis on variances and drivers, as well as partnering with the Business Services and Corporate Real Estate Occupancy leadership on formulation of annual budget and reforecasts. You will also be providing insights into business efficiencies and partnering with the Business Services and Corporate Real Estate Occupancy leadership teams on adhoc projects and analysis to support decision making.

What you offer

  • Accountant qualification, and ability to demonstrate a keen interest in business performance reporting and a desire to build a career in financial management
  • Proven finance experience within financial services or accounting firms
  • Experience leading an offshore team and an ability to quickly grasp new concepts will be key to your success
  • Financial planning and analysis skills through experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Process improvement mindset, and an interest in working with colleagues in Australia and offshore teams
  • Experience in real estate finance and Apptio for reporting will be highly beneficial.
