Join our Macquarie Asset Management Data Office team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. You will join during an exciting period of transformation within the data team and partner with both business and Macquarie-wide data teams to build understanding of data management and to implement best practice principles.

What role will you play?

You will be a key member of our team with capabilities in data quality, data advisory and risk management to support the implementation of data management best practices to enable a data driven and data risk management culture at Macquarie.

You will leverage your expertise in data management to develop, manage and implement data frameworks to align with Macquarie policies and to meet regulatory requirements. You will also support the uplift of data capabilities and ensure regulatory obligations are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand the business context of prospective change and leverage strong stakeholder management, problem solving and analytical skills to support the implementation of data management frameworks.

What you offer

  • 3+ years’ experience in data management, data governance or consulting (within the data domain) 
  • Proven experience in the implementation of data governance program 
  • Advance skills using data governance tools such as Collibra
  • Proven interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and to effectively manage expectations
  • Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills with a passion for championing change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong delivery skills gained through project or implementation experience, with the ability to work in a process-oriented manner to see tasks through to completion.
