Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) is looking to add to its growing Private Credit business by hiring a driven individual to join the U.S. Direct Lending portfolio management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to have an immediate impact on a growing business.

What role will you play?

In your role you will work closely with the investment professionals across the business and participate in evaluating potential investment opportunities for the fund. Additionally, you will take ownership of monitoring and managing a defined pool of assets within the portfolio. Your work will include rigorous review of financial models and assumptions and analysis of credit structures, documentation, and rating assessments. In addition, your broad responsibilities will include supporting the Portfolio Manager in Investment Committee objectives as well as long term fund-raising activities for the business.

Salary range for this position: $175,000 - $205,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • 6+ years experience structuring and/or analyzing the risk fundamentals of corporate debt
  • Ease in analytical discussions, with a rounded, commercial approach to risk decisions
  • Ability to review and work with financial models
  • Comprehension of due diligence requirements for varying proposals (legal, technical, financial and other relevant due diligence reports)
  • Background and knowledge of credit documentation and capital markets
