Join Macquarie's Corporate Operations Group as an Operational Risk Manager in Houston to support our Operations Division. Working as Business Operational Risk Manager, you will work directly with Operations to ensure that the key operational risks are being effectively managed and monitored.

As part of the Operations Business Operational Risk Management team, you will facilitate the continued improvement in processes, controls and operational risk awareness and culture across our businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough Control Assurance by examining processes and controls to pinpoint any issues, gaps, or weaknesses and collaborate closely with Operations to investigate breakdowns in processes and controls, assess their impact, identify root causes, and suggest necessary improvements. Additionally, you will support Operations in ensuring timely resolution of actions and issues, evaluating the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.

What you offer

  • 2+ years of operational risk experience in energy or financial services, covering operations, trade lifecycle, process improvement, and business analysis
  • Proven ability to work with and effectively challenge a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong foundation in data analysis, innovative thinking, and process improvement, along with creative and abstract problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
