Join Macquarie’s Futures Clearing Operations team in Chicago as a Futures Clearing Analyst and focus on top-day clearing of U.S. and European markets including: ICE US, CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, ICE EUROPE, EUREX. You will be part of a Global team of six that also works closely with affiliate offices in Sydney, Singapore, New York, and London to facilitate a 24-hour service to a global client base.

What role will you play?

Day to day job functions include monitoring and dealing with clearing exceptions and performing exchange level position maintenance. Resolving trade breaks and T+ issues and communicating with carry brokers, maintaining static data within clearing systems and working closely with Macquarie client solutions and reconciliation teams is an important part of this role, as well as delivering mandatory change which is driven by Regulatory Requirements and Exchange upgrades.

  • Understanding of various exchange GUI’s clearing systems (ICE FEC, ECS, FEC+, MIDDLEWARE PROGRAMS)
  • First rate understanding of futures product behaviors; Debt, Equity, IR, Energy and Commodity Instruments
  • Strong Risk Management skills with experience in process improvements and activities to identify, explore, and solve root cause process issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in Futures Operations and end to end testing experience
