Our Strategic Initiatives team within Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets Group specialises in managing the design, implementation, and embeddedness of strategic business and operational uplift, regulatory, and remediation initiatives that support client and business objectives.

This is a 12 month contract.

What role will you play?

As a Project Delivery Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of projects by providing project delivery assurance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with project managers and key stakeholders to address and mitigate project risks, assess the effectiveness of change solutions, and ensure adherence to project management frameworks and best practices. Your work will directly support the delivery of material change initiatives across the portfolio.

What you offer

Proven experience in audit or project delivery assurance within a high-risk and regulated environment.
Strong understanding of project management, risk management, and project assurance methodologies.
Ability to learn quickly and effectively grasp new concepts.
Outstanding capacity to deliver high-quality results to deadlines, with high attention to detail.
Strong ability to challenge and analyse complex project information and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to navigate changes and unexpected developments.
Experience managing, advising, and influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes on complex agendas.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
