Join our Cyber Threat and Incident Response team who are responsible for ensuring that our digital estate is protected from threats. We are looking for an experienced, curious, and innovative Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst with a passion for cyber threat intelligence, cyber threat identification and remediation, information security operations, automation, customer service, and program development.

What role will you play?

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be partnering with multiple functions in our global Cyber Threat and Incident Response team. You will ensure that our digital estate is protected from threats both known and unknown. You will work alongside a diverse team around the globe and be a vital contributor to identifying, triaging, and managing threats and risks in the cyber environment.

You will work as a regional subject matter expert for all things cyber threat intelligence and serve as an all-source Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, feeding, developing, and building on the threat intelligence platform and in-house cyber threat intelligence solutions. In additional, you will provide analytic support pertaining to a wide range of cyber threat actors, malware, and topics affecting Macquarie, financial institutions, its customers, and partners.

  • Exceptional skills in both writing and presenting reports.
  • Ability to use multiple tools and techniques for acquiring and processing information.
  • Ability to triage discovered or disclosed information leaks with a sound ability to communicate exposures and effectively articulate remediation strategies, and feed into the data breach process where required.
  • Ability to present your work to peers in your immediate team, internal customers, and across the broader security community.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing written reporting on criminal and state-sponsored espionage campaigns and operations.
  • Strong awareness of geopolitical trends affecting the cyber threat landscape, including cyber operations and missions, vulnerabilities, malware development, third-party risk, geopolitics, and significant global events.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and able to guide members of teams across the organisation, who are developing materials on topics related to the cyber threats they face.
