What role will you play?

Working closely with the Director of Engineering, you will oversee all aspects for our gateways and API engineering teams. Your responsibilities will encompass engineering processes such as system design, development, CI/CD, production support, continuous process improvement, as well as contributing to strategy and roadmaps. You will cultivate an innovative culture that promotes lateral thinking and early risk identification, while adopting a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

You will collaborate closely with engineers in your team on building cutting edge technology solutions across our API gateways. You will be responsible for the overall health of the technology platform and the cadence of delivery for new features.

What you offer

Relevant experience managing engineering team in a fast paced, agile environment
Technical background in software development, with experience in software design, and operating mission-critical platforms
Experience in design, development and implementation of API solutions using Apigee Edge / X, Istio or Gloo
Strong experience in cloud-based technologies, including SaaS
Previous experience optimising API performance, scalability, and security.
Strong technical background in managing authentication and authorisation solutions.
Experience in implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT Integrations, TLS/mTLS
