What role will you play?

You will ensure that the group manage service provider risks in compliance with global regulations and Macquarie-wide operational policies and standards as well as support the implementation of the governance framework. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to stakeholders to drive effective and timely assessment and monitoring risks associated with third-party and intra-group outsourcing service providers throughout the supplier lifecycle. Additionally, you will deliver relevant reporting requirements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

What you offer

• 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in risk management or the financial services industry

• An understanding of relevant regulatory landscapes is an advantage

• Familiarity with relevant supplier management software and tools is an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven success in building strong relationships with stakeholders and peers

• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and self-driven mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
