What role will you play?

As a highly skilled and motivated Java Engineer, you will join our Omni Channel Data team to drive the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge data solutions. You will leverage your strong background in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture to design and implement robust, scalable systems.

Your expertise in real-time data processing tools such as Kafka Streams, Flink, and Samza will be crucial in managing and optimising our data workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and real-time data processing, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • In-depth hands-on experience working with Java and Spring boot with experience working with cloud technologies (GCP and AWS)
  • Develop and manage microservices architecture to support scalable and efficient data processing.
  • Work with real-time data processing tools such as Kafka Streams, Flink, and Samza.
  • hands-on experience in CI/CD tooling, including the ability to configure and maintain automated pipelines.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers and team members to identify and address potential software and data management issues.
  • Implement and maintain real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
  • Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Experience in real-time data processing tools like Kafka Streams, Flink, and Samza.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address software and data management issues.
  • Effective team collaboration skills with other engineers and stakeholders.
