Join our Cash Equities team in Auckland, where you will step into the role of Sales Trader and work to build relationships across our New Zealand and international based clients along with broader key stakeholders within Macquarie.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work alongside senior members of our team to deliver best in class investment services leveraging our global platform. This will include providing cash equities execution services, trading insights, and selling research product to Macquarie’s institutional clients with a focus on the New Zealand and Australian markets.

You’ll be part of a supportive team where everyone, no matter what role - contributes ideas and drive outcomes.

What you offer

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in institutional sales, sales trading, research-sales or broking environment
  • High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical and computer literacy skills
  • Highly motivated, driven and commercial in your work approach and thrives working in a fast-paced environment
