Our Central Technology team within Commodities and Global Markets are executing an exciting strategic program to improve our strategy and platforms to meet Macquarie’s customers’ needs.

This is a 12-month contract.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will partner with our operational and business stakeholders and bring your expertise in software and data engineering to play a critical role as a Data Engineer to develop data pipelines, organise downstream consumption data and solve a range of technical problems. 

What you offer

  • Excellent hands-on coding ability in Python and be able to review Python code.
  • Experience querying big data, using tools like, Redshift, Hive, Spark, Presto.
  • Experience with Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
  • Experience with SQL and Bitbucket
  • Experience with Data pipelines orchestration tools like DataIku, Airflow or Argo Workflows
