Join our Corporate Operations Group, Technology department as a Full Stack Developer in the Engineering Enablement platform team. Our team’s mission is to reduce risk, toil, and complexity to help our engineers thrive. We are responsible for managing Macquarie’s technology infrastructure, supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business systems, and deploying new systems, technologies and services.

What role will you play?

As a Full Stack Developer, you will build and maintain software applications that the platform provides to simplify and accelerate software delivery. You will optimise and maintain platform infrastructure and apply best practices to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the platform.

You will also act as a mentor to junior developers, contributing to our culture of learning and continuous improvement, and helping cultivate a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement in the team.

What you offer

  • At least 5+ years’ experience working as a Full Stack Developer in an engineering team supporting large, enterprise-level systems
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL) including experience in writing SQL queries for Postgres databases
  • Experience with Linux and Bash scripting
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Typescript
  • Proficiency in Golang, Java and/or Python
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms ideally AWS
  • Proven track record of improving engineering velocity and reducing software delivery toil
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Forge is desirable.
