Our team focuses on assessing innovative hedging/lending solutions across a variety of business models, including commodity product trading (primarily gas, power, oil, metals, agricultural and environmental certificates via over the counter and Futures) as well as fixed income, specialised lending and asset finance products.

What role will you play?

You will manage credit for a diverse portfolio of European clients, including utilities, trading houses, funds, mid-large corporates, and football clubs. Responsibilities include conducting credit analysis, making trade approval recommendations, performing risk monitoring, and negotiating trading terms and loan covenants. You will build strong relationships with external clients and internal teams and develop high-quality credit analyses. In addition, you will be involved in the development, implementation and review of credit policies/frameworks and other portfolio management activities.

  • Strong communication skills to provide concise and insightful credit recommendations
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative discipline or 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience of using of Bloomberg, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A strong interest in financial analysis, with an understanding of evaluating company financial statements to determine creditworthiness
  • Ability to identify and evaluate key risks that arise from proposed transactions and potential mitigants
  • Strong collaboration experience as you will partner with colleagues, front office stakeholders and external clients
