What role will you play?
As an Operations Intern, you will be part of a global team where your contributions will have a real-world impact. Running for three months, you will gain hands-on experience in trade support and operational services across our commodities and capital businesses. From managing and supporting trading activities to handling regulatory reporting, our dynamic and supportive environment offers you valuable opportunities to build new skills and learn about a career in financial services.
We have opportunities in:
Audit confirmations
Engage with external auditors to deliver timely audit confirmations, source financial reports from various Macquarie systems, and cross-train with the Reconciliations & Controls team.
Counterparty lifecycle management (CLM)
Support the trade lifecycle by focusing on client onboarding, periodic reviews, compliance management, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
Cash equities – data and trade management
Ensure data quality and accuracy, collaborate with internal teams for timely updates, maintain data consistency, and gain exposure to trade lifecycle processes.
What you offer
- Currently in your second last or final year of study with a mandatory internship requirement as part of your curriculum.
- Students with backgrounds in business administration, industrial engineering, accountancy, finance, or other related fields.
- A learning mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to execution and delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
