Our London-based Payroll team is highly skilled in providing payroll services to internal stakeholders, closely collaborating with Regional and Global Operations, People and Culture, Finance, Tax, and Risk to ensure seamless payroll delivery. With a regional focus, we ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations by leveraging our partnerships with external payroll vendors. While Macquarie offers hybrid working, this role does require 3 days a week in our London office.

What role will you play?

Using your first-class practical payroll expertise, you will provide payroll delivery for EMEA, supported by the Payroll Manager. Alongside handling normal business-as-usual activity, you will be required to regularly problem solve, resolve stakeholder and employee queries, and identify improvement and automation opportunities to reduce our risk profile.

What you offer

  • 3+ years Payroll experience, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, payroll calculations, payment disbursements and bank account management, tax and social security withholding, and benefits administration across the EMEA region.
  • Good technical knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations, including basic tax compliance.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel. Ability to analyse large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and handle competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong numeracy, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, capable to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic global team.
