Join our Operations Department, which is responsible for providing business-aligned trade support services such as middle office, trade finance, trade validation, trade documentation and settlement support to the Commodities and Global Markets and Macquarie Capital Groups. The Commodity Markets and Financing Business at Macquarie is a growing sector and this is an opportunity to be part of an evolving and growing function.

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Commodity Markets and Financing Operations in Asia, you will primarily be responsible for providing support on key operational elements on behalf of the Physical Commodities business in Singapore and its customers.

What you offer

  • Working experience of Physical Commodity trading support, ideally within the banking sector
  • 3+ years working experience in Letters of Credit Transactions (import and export)
  • A keen interest in Commodity and Trade Finance markets
  • Understanding the importance of controls and procedures in the operations area and lifecycle of a product as well as the end to end trade lifecycle
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills 
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
