Our Data and AI division is dedicated to driving the enterprise-wide adoption of data and artificial intelligence at Macquarie. Working closely with business leaders, technology teams, and senior management, we develop and maintain strategies that enable innovative, responsible, and value-driven use of AI across our organisation.

What role will you play?

As part of our AI Strategy Support team, you will help shape and deliver our Offensive Data and AI strategy, ensuring it is aligned with business priorities and industry standards. You will facilitate collaboration between business and technology stakeholders, support senior leadership in strategic decision-making, and communicate the value of AI initiatives across the organisation. Your work will contribute to Macquarie’s reputation as a leader in trustworthy and effective AI deployment.

  • Extensive experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategic planning and execution within financial services, digital transformation, or data-driven environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to assess opportunities, prioritise investments, and navigate complex stakeholder groups
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, enabling you to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders
  • A thorough understanding of financial services operating models, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
  • Practical exposure to AI platforms, data governance, or advanced analytics, and familiarity with global developments in responsible AI and regulation.
