What role will you play?

As a Trade Surveillance Manager, you will be responsible for investigating market trading activity to identify potential risks, irregularities, and breaches of market conduct and provision of financial services. You will apply a risk mindset in conducting investigations and thematic reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies, ASIC regulations and Australian Financial Services Licensee obligations. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and compliance professionals, to present complex findings, provide actionable recommendations, and drive innovative improvements to risk management processes. In addition, you will embrace AI to generate innovative ideas to work smarter, improve surveillance processes and proactively manage emerging risks.

  • A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sound understanding of the ASX trading and regulatory environment will be an advantage, as will a good understanding of wealth management compliance requirements.
