What role will you play?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of an agile team, working closely with engineers and product owners to deliver robust reporting and analytical data products. You will gather, document and analyse requirements, ensuring our data solutions meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. 

Your work will span data discovery, defining acceptance criteria, testing, and supporting data modelling, all while championing innovative, AI-first approaches to streamline and enhance our processes. Collaborating daily with colleagues across Australia, India and the Philippines, you will help shape the future of People and Culture data at Macquarie.

What you offer

  • 3-4 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a strong background in gathering requirements, documentation and clear written communication for data analytics projects
  • Proficiency in SQL, particularly for querying data to support reporting and analysis
  • The ability to thrive within an agile team environment, effectively managing ambiguity and delivering high-quality outcomes on schedule
  • Demonstrated experience applying an AI-first mindset to requirement gathering, data discovery and data modelling
  • Familiarity with data modelling concepts and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to continuous improvement.
