Join our Reliability Technology team where you will leverage your extensive technical knowledge and pragmatic approach to software design and architecture to build and inspire the engineering function. The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is the engine room of Banking and Financial Services. as an Engineering Manager, you will be at the helm. We are accountable for the end-to-end reliability, performance, and resilience of the critical platforms that our customers rely on every day. Our mission is to ensure our digital services are not just operational but exceptional, achieving a 99.95% reliability standard.

What role will you play?

This isn't a traditional operations team. You will lead a team of skilled software engineers dedicated to building automated, scalable, and resilient systems. We don't just fight fires; we help architect and build the systems and tools that prevent them. As an SRE Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for both the people and the technology that keep our bank running smoothly. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the reliability of our platforms and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

What you offer

  • Experience managing multiple software engineering teams
  • Strong technical background (preferably Java based)
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives
  • Product company experience with an understanding of how to build great products in an Agile environment
  • Solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable and performant web applications
  • Computer science education or equivalent experience.
