What role will you play?

As a member of a high-performing team, you will focus on updating and maintaining industry databases, managing market analysis and client presentations and briefings. You will engage directly with domestic, regional and international clients to actively participate in client meetings, events, industry specific discussions, conversations with corporates, support sales and client requests. You will also support the execution of a variety of corporate events, conferences, Zoom Webinars, and work in conjunction with Sales and Investment Banking teams. Working in a fast-paced environment, your role will involve calendar management, expense and invoice management, and travel arrangement among other administrative duties.
 
You will also be responsible for providing support on maintaining financial models, writing, previewing and reviewing quarterly results, sector updates and thematic reports and have the opportunity to generate new ideas, participate in coverage initiation on new companies and help build our client base and revenue over time. In addition, you are expected to leverage AI tools to help produce fast-turnaround, actionable, equity research reports and support coverage analysts to deliver high-quality insights.

What you offer

  • A tertiary qualification in a finance, accounting, economics or similar discipline
  • Strong finance and accounting skills and well-versed in financial concepts like ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling
  • Prior experience in a similar role gained in fast-paced financial institutions including sell-side research, buy-side research, investment banking or similar environments
  • Exceptional communication skills in Japanese and English with the ability to build relationships with large corporate clients and internal teams across locations
  • Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a passion in equity research, with a drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
