Join our Control Tower team, where you’ll play a key role in overseeing the operational delivery of Change and D3E work across the Risk Management Group. This role is focused on driving operational efficiency, strengthening cross‑functional collaboration, and enabling teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes with impact.

What role will you play?

You will manage core portfolio and product governance activities, including operational oversight, reporting, process documentation, and assurance to support effective delivery outcomes. You’ll act as the central coordination point for portfolio and product administration, providing governance support, while engaging closely with stakeholders across the business.

You will be involved in developing, maintaining and continuously improving Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor business performance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and security. In collaboration with cross‑functional teams, you will gather reporting and data requirements, deliver data‑driven insights, and present clear, actionable reports to senior stakeholders. In addition, you’ll support financial management activities such as resource tracking and capacity management to enable informed decision‑making across change initiatives for the Risk Management Group.

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI data development, analytics or business intelligence, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, supported by strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and the initiative to resolve issues independently
  • Experience using Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence is an advantage
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to develop practical solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent English communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and high attention to detail
  • Problem‑solving and innovation mindset, with the ability to design effective solutions aligned to strategic objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences while remaining patient, resilient, and focused on long‑term outcomes
  • Understanding of, or experience in, change delivery, data‑related initiatives, portfolio management or product operations, with the capacity to deliver high‑quality results to tight deadlines.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
