At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. As the Senior Data Analytics/ BI Specialist, you will build the measurement and intelligence layer that underpins both operational performance and product capability. Working across performance engineering, product analytics, and data platform development, you will transform how Market Services measures and drives outcomes by replacing manual reporting with real-time, automated OKRs, KPIs, and operational metrics.

This role focuses on building a strong data and analytics foundation that is embedded into products from day one. This includes defining reusable data models and analytics patterns, and ensuring platforms are built with telemetry, lineage, and observability. You will contribute to building scalable and reliable data pipelines that reduce manual data preparation and enable consistent insight generation across teams.

In this role, you will support the evolution of analytics capabilities from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive, using AI and machine learning. Partnering with a hybrid team of engineers, analysts and AI agents, the focus is on embedding automation across data pipelines, insights and reporting. Success will be measured by the adoption of data-driven decision making, reduced reliance on manual reporting, increased use of self-service analytics and improved operational outcomes.
