The Resilience team is responsible for embedding Macquarie’s business resilience framework across the organisation, helping to ensure we can anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruption. We work closely with teams and external partners to strengthen crisis leadership, planning, testing, and day-to-day preparedness so critical services can continue when they matter most.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will focus on coordinating business and operational resilience activities to strengthen resilience capability across Macquarie’s critical operations and processes. Working as part of a global team, you will act as a trusted partner to the business, helping teams understand their key activities, dependencies, and recovery strategies. Your work will support effective risk management, plan reviews, and scenario testing, ensuring resilience plans are current, practical, and fit for purpose while meeting regulatory and leadership expectations.

What you offer

  • Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, operational risk, audit, or technology recovery, ideally within a financial services environment
  • The confidence to review resilience arrangements and provide constructive challenge to improve capability
  • Experience using artificial intelligence or automation to enhance processes or improve delivery outcomes
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and accessibly
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
