Our Corporate Operations Group Data & AI function enables the safe, transparent and effective use  Data & AI function enables the safe, transparent and effective use of data and artificial intelligence across Macquarie. The Data & AI Insights team combines business insight, analysis and advanced analytics to create a clear enterprise-wide view of data risk, supporting informed decision-making and stronger risk management outcomes.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst in Data Risk Analytics, you will design and deliver data-driven insights to support risk visibility and decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop analytical solutions and translate complex data into clear, actionable outputs. Your work will help shape priorities and improve how data is used to manage risk across the business.

What you offer

  • 1-3 years hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Power Query, Python or similar technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and translate business needs into practical solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to data analysis and delivery
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business, risk and technology teams, with an interest in developing knowledge of data risk and governance areas
  • Experience leveraging AI technology to achieve accelerated delivery.
