What role will you play?

Operating as a technical architect and cyber resource you will support Macquarie's business units globally. You will review Macquarie’s security capabilities and provide recommendations and work with stakeholders to uplift our security capability landscape. You will work on security uplift initiatives with Macquarie’s Cyber Product teams including new capabilities and product assessments and solution design. You will also liaise with various stakeholders to provide security advice and assist them in understanding the severity of the security risks and the remediation activities that could follow and develop security architecture patterns at the foundational or platform level.

What you offer

  • 7+ years experience in Cyber Security technical design and architecture
  • Experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
  • Strong understanding of risk management, security best practices, and secure application development
  • Knowledge of Data lifecycle and protection mechanisms.
  • Familiarity and exposure to regulatory requirements, the evolving threat landscape, and industry standard frameworks including but not limited to: NIST, COBIT, and ISO.
