The Conflicts and Transaction Management team within Compliance is responsible for the management of compliance controls relating to investment banking transactions, information flows, transparency obligations and surveillance across the full transaction life cycle. What role will you play?

You will monitor for position reporting obligations, compile position reports, respond to data quality alerts and collaborate with business teams to gather relevant information, regularly interacting with stakeholders across compliance, technology and other business groups.

You will also understand and execute the regulatory position reporting and monitoring processes pertaining to Tracing Notices, review related policies and procedures for managing position reporting and monitoring, ensure all regulatory filings are filed in an accurate and timely manner and address regulatory change affecting Tracing Notices.

What you offer

• Experience as a junior analyst gained within an investment bank, in particular a position monitoring, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and a solid understanding of the global regulatory reporting environment
• Working knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in major global markets
• Skills in relationship management and persuasiveness
• Comfortable dealing with large sets of data
• Able to work with competing priorities and level-headed approach under short delivery timeframes
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization and communication skills.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
